The wedding ensembles- New Goals and trends
The Bride
The visual impression of the bride and groom goes like this- The bride looked like a diva in a traditional gem which was a mesmerizing golden and wine-red lehenga. The heavily embroidered dupatta looked vibrant, royal and pretty. Traditional heavy gold jewellery, twin-mang tikkas, kaleeras and chooda looked awe-inspiring and ravishing on the Punjabi bride. The million-dollar smile added to the getup.
The Groom
The groom Gurickk won our hearts in a quintessential mustard colour. He wore a royal kurta with a Sikh blue turban and celebrated style and tradition. The heavily embroidered yellow attire with white lowers added to the Prince Charming’s look and appeal. The head jewellery and the neckpiece looked out-of-the-box and did all the talking for the cameras. The jewel-studded sword looked enticing and more royal. The groom’s outfit was equally stunning and a super-hit. Overall, the Punjabi couple looked awesome together and the wedding looked straight out of a fairytale.
Head accessories/Jewels
Adding to their royal and the ethnic range was charming and out-of-the-world jewellery. The bride’s chooda, kaleera and the head accessory were like a feather on top to the show-stopper outfit. The nonchalant trinkets called for some undivided attention whereas the groom had made a maximum impact with his accessories and jewels fixed on his turban. The jewelleries were surely to die for. What do you think?
Bridesmaids and Groomsmen- ‘The world of entertainment’
Friends are someone who share your taste, likes, dislikes and have a journey together with you. So was with the bride Simran and the groom Gurickk. Their close buddies have not only attended their wedding but also contributed towards making the pictures and the wedding trending on social media. Few of their besties to name are Diljit Dosanjh, actress Poppy Jabbal, actress Sonnalli Seygall. Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, rap singer Badshah, Sargun Mehta, Sunil Grover and Guru Randhawa were other celebrities who attended the traditional royal wedding. Loads of love and wishes were being showered on the couple by friends, family and fans and the guests had a super-duper time at the high-profile wedding. Jazzy B, Mika Singh, Bunty Bains, Babu Mann, Ammy Virk were also a part of the star-studded ceremony.
Pre-wedding rituals
Haldi
Simran was dressed in a simple yellow outfit with a bordered dupatta, featuring intricate diamante detailing. She preferred it all sans make-up which gave her gorgeous and flawless results. The traditional Haldi ceremony went underway with loads of fun and masti with her bridesmaids as the haldi was being slothed on the arms, feet and face of the bride.
Mehndi
The beauty queen opted yellow for both haldi and mehndi. There was intricate all-over golden zari and thread work on the outfit. The eclectic ethnic wear had a tinge of blue and pink hues on it that acted as a magic wand to lift up the look and traditional spirit. The peaches pink dupatta made the outfit complete with a yellow border on it. The actress braided her tresses on the crown and left rest open for the carefree look. The jewelry too had our attention and her make-up was up to the mark and quite toned.
The Paradisiacal Venue- The Baradari Palace, Neemrana Group
The venue too fell in place when it comes to a concept and quality of a luxury wedding of Simran and Gurickk. The wedding took place at the The Baradari Palace in Patiala, Punjab. According to the reports, Neemrana Hotels organized the world-class cuisine for lunch that held an altogether separate food menu for foreigners. The fun-filled wedding and the venue was definitely an epitome of glamour and opulence. The decor and the ambiance spelt royalty as nothing else can.
The emotional moments
More than opulence and the extravagance, it’s the sentiments and the emotions attached to the celebrations and the relations that matters the most. Simran and Gurickk’s was one such event that left us all in tears when the singing spree by groom’s father touched many hearts. Dad singing at son’s wedding can surely be heart-wrenching and emotional. Guests were entertained throughout by stalwarts Gurdas Maan and Harshdeep Kaur. We share the performances and the moments with you where Simran and her mother are seen crying and getting carried away.
We can’t help but be in awe of the mesmerizing and eclectic event held by both the families. The wedding gives us the taste of the unusual and leaves an impression!
